Art Deco .75 CTW Old European Cut Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring
Vintage Art Deco diamond and platinum engagement ring. A well-cut old European cut diamond with lovely brilliance is framed by four corner prongs. The shoulders feature a chainlink or stirrup design accented with delicate milgrain, and studded with seven glittering single cut diamonds each. The subtly flared basket features a simple “W” motif. The half-rounded shank is slightly tapered at the back. A sleekly tailored ring with a stylish equestrian theme reminiscent of Hermes, and other heritage luxury brands. The center diamond is approximately .65 carats, K color, I1 clarity, eye clean and faces up white. The side diamonds total approx. .10 carats additional. Circa 1930s. Stamped 10%IRID.PLAT, and tests as PLATINUM. This ring is in very good vintage condition.
