Art Deco .83 CTW Old European Cut Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring
Vintage Art Deco diamond engagement ring. A well-cut old European cut diamond with lovely brilliance is framed by four corner prongs. The shoulders feature a unique and dimensional chainlink design accented with delicate milgrain, and studded with four glittering single cut diamonds each. The ““link” that adjoins the knife-edge shank tapers to an elegant point. The subtly flared basket features a simple inverted “V” motif. A sleekly tailored ring with a stylish equestrian theme reminiscent of Hermes, and other heritage luxury brands. The center diamond is approximately .67 carats, K color, I1 clarity, eye clean and faces up white. The side diamonds total approx. .16 carats additional. Circa 1930s. A partial stamp for 10%IRID/PLATINUM, and tests as PLATINUM. This ring is in good vintage condition, with a few minor nicks to the girdle of the center diamond, not visible to the naked eye.
This ring is currently a US size 6, but can easily be resized by your local jeweler.
