Art Deco .41 CTW Old European Cut Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring
Vintage Art Deco diamond engagement ring in white gold. A scintillating old European cut diamond is held by four corner prongs, perched atop a streamlined architectural basket. The cathedral shoulders are topped with four dainty single cut diamonds each, in slender milgrained rectangular frames, capped by an incised triangle and bead motif that gives way to a smooth knife-edged shank. An elegantly simple and delicately proportioned ring. The center diamond is approx. .33 carats, I color, VVS2 clarity, eye clean and very bright. The side diamonds total an additional .08 carats. Circa 1930s. Stamped 18K-B, the maker's mark for items of 18K gold made by The Bernstein Jewelry Co., Inc. of Chicago, Illinois. The metal also tests as 18K gold. This ring is in very good vintage condition.
