Art Deco .46 CTW Old European Cut Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring
Vintage Art Deco diamond engagement ring. A scintillating old European cut diamond is held by four corner-prongs, accented by delicate milgrain. The square basket tapers subtly at the base, and is embellished with a raised fleur-de-lis motif on two sides, framed in an arched opening. The shoulders are set with a baguette cut diamond each, within a milgrained frame that tapers to a point where it meets the knife-edge shank. A simple and elegant ring. The center diamond is approximately .40 carats each, J to K color, faces up white, I1 clarity, eye clean, with an additional .06 carats of side diamonds. The center diamond has one small chip to the girdle under one of the prongs, not visible to the naked eye. Circa 1920s. Stamped 10%IRID.PLAT. for platinum, and tests as such. This ring is in good vintage condition, with slight overall wear commensurate with age.
This ring is currently a US size 6, but can be resized by your local jeweler.
