Art Deco .22 CTW Old Mine Cut Two Stone Diamond Statement or Engagement Ring
Antique Art Deco platinum, rose gold, and diamond ring. Two sparkling old mine cut diamonds, held in platinum-topped bezel settings trimmed in gently worn milgrain, float at the center of an unusual, indented, platinum-topped navette-shaped halo, reminiscent of an infinity symbol. that’s edged in milgrain and set with eight dainty rose cut diamonds. The golden undercarriage is simple, following the outline of the face. The gold shank is slender, and the shoulders rise up slightly to meet the face. A ethereal ring with an intriguing design and flattering lines, the infinity symbol perhaps signifying the limitlessness of love. The center diamonds are appr. .09 carats each, H to I color, SI1 to SI2 clarity. The additional rose cut diamonds total appr. .04 carats. Circa 1920s. No hallmarks, but tests as 18K gold and platinum. This ring is in very good vintage condition, with some overall wear commensurate with age.
