Art Nouveau 0.56 CTW Old European Cut Diamond Statement or Engagement Ring
Antique Edwardian Art Nouveau diamond engagement ring. A trio of old mine cut diamonds arranged in a clover shape, in platinum-topped bezel settings with softly worn milgrain trim, sparkle brightly at the end of gracefully curving stem. The slender shoulders, which meet at the front, each taper to a fine point, topped in platinum, trimmed in milgrain, and set with three dainty single cut diamonds each. A thin reeded gold shank completes the ring. A sinuous and elegant Art Nouveau composition. The center diamonds weigh approximately .25, .13, and .12 carats, H to K color, SI1 to I1 clarity. Side diamonds total approx. .06 carats additional. There is a partial illegible hallmark, but the ring tests as 18K gold and platinum. Circa 1900. This ring is in good vintage condition, with some minor overall wear commensurate with age.
This ring is currently a US size 7 3/4, but can easily be resized somewhat by your local jeweler.
