Art Deco .08 CTW Single Cut Diamond Statement or Engagement Ring
Vintage Art Deco diamond ring. A glittering single cut diamond in a milgrained, platinum-topped bezel setting is framed above and below by two platinum-topped arrowhead shapes, each milgrained and set with a dainty rose cut diamond. They are bound within an elongated, platinum-topped hexagonal frame with concave sides, milgrained all around and set with four tiny rose cut diamonds, which is bound again by a navette-shaped frame trimmed in milgrain and four additional rose cut diamonds. A simple gold gallery and shank complete the ring. An intricate and airy antique design. The center diamond is approx. .05 carats, I to J color, SI2 clarity, eye clean. Remaining side stones total approximately .03 carats. Circa 1920s. Stamped 750 for 18K gold, and tests as 18K gold and platinum. This ring is in very good vintage condition.
