Edwardian .96 CTW Old European Cut Diamond Three Stone Statement or Engagement Ring
Antique Edwardian diamond shield ring. A magnificent old mine cut diamond is flanked top and bottom by two more old mine cut diamonds in tear-shaped settings. Fanned out around each tear shape is a scalloped halo of three additional old mine cut/old European cut diamonds and delicate scrollwork. On either side of the center diamond, four additional old mine cut diamonds nestle between dainty leaf-shaped cutouts which cap the shoulders. The transition form shoulders to shank is marked by two delicate notches. A dazzling and effervescent ring. The three center diamonds weighs approx. .20, .10, and .10 carats, H to I color, VS1 to I1 clarity. The additional diamonds total approx. .56 carats additional. Stamped 10%IR.PLAT. for platinum, and tests as platinum. Circa 1910s. This ring is in good vintage condition.
