Art Deco 1.11 CTW Old European Cut Diamond Engagement Ring
Art Deco diamond engagement ring in platinum. A dazzling old European cut diamond set in a four-prong sits at the pinnacle of an elaborate die-cast bombe setting featuring single cut diamonds set within milgrained shield and foliate frames interspersed with lacy openwork. A braided motif embellishes the sides of the shank. The back of the shank is unembellished. A striking and dimensional ring. The center diamond is approx. .87 carats, H to I color, VS1 clarity, with one small chip to the girdle, not visible to the naked eye. The fourteen side diamonds total approximately .24 carats additional. Circa 1930s. Stamped PLATINUM, and tests as as such. This ring is in very good vintage condition.
This ring is currently a US size 6 1/2, and should not be resized more than one size at most due to the detailed construction.
