Art Deco 1.25 CTW Transitional Cut Halo Engagement Ring
Vintage diamond halo ring. A brilliant transitional cut diamond in a finely milgrained bezel setting is surrounded by floating scalloped halo of old European cut diamonds, also outlined with delicate milgrain, like the petals of a flower surround the center. The shoulders form a delicate leaf motif, set with a tiny old brilliant cut diamond and a single platinum bead bordered by delicate milgrain. A classic diamond halo ring with a touch of freshness. We estimate the center stone at .65 carats, H color, I clarity, but eye clean. Side stones total an additional .60 carats. Circa 1930s. Two unidentified marks, tests as platinum. This ring is in very good vintage condition, with just a small chip on one side stone.
