Art Deco .15 Carat Old European Cut Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring
Vintage Art Deco diamond engagement ring. A twinkling old European cut diamond is held in concentric milgrained and smooth octagonal frame. the smallest two raised slightly to add dimension. The shoulders feature a striking design of triangles, arcs, lines, and large snd small milgrain that seems to take its inspiration from tailoring, reminiscent of lapels, buttons, and pinstripes. The gallery features an equally striking geometric openwork design. The shank at the back is smooth and straignt. A crisply tailored ring with a unique flair. The center diamond is approximately .15 carats, H to I color, I1 clarity, eye clean. Circa 1920s. Stamped 18K for 18K white gold, and tests as such. This ring is in good vintage condition.
