Art Nouveau 0.22 CTW Old European Cut Diamond Statement or Engagement Ring
Antique Edwardian Art Nouveau diamond engagement ring. A twinkling old European cut and rose cut diamond in platinum-topped bezel settings balance at the end of a gracefully bending platinum-topped stem. intertwined with a curving platinum-topped leaf, the tip and base of which are dotted with dainty rose cut diamonds. The rose gold shank, curves up from the base of the stem, platinum-topped and set with tiny rose cut diamonds at the shoulders, and wraps around the finger, the other end forming another platinum-topped, rose cut diamond-studded leaf tip that droops downward to meet the stem. A sinuous and elegant Art Nouveau composition. The center diamond weighs approximately .16 carats, H to I color, I1 clarity, eye clean, with a very pleasing brilliance. Side diamonds total approx. .06 carats additional. Stamped "750" for 18K gold, and tests as 18K gold and platinum. This ring is in good vintage condition, with some minor overall wear commensurate with age.
