Art Deco .79 CTW Old Mine Cut Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring
Vintage Art Deco diamond engagement ring. A romantic old mine cut diamond is held by four milgrained corner prongs, flanked by two arching rows of single cut diamonds, bordered in milgrain and separated by a channel of air. These are capped at the shank end with a single cut diamond in a tapered frame which meets the knife-edge shank. The profile features two graceful arches supported by an openwork gallery of simple vertical lines. An elegant and crisply tailored Art Deco ring. The center diamond is approximately .63 carats, J to K color, I1 clarity, eye clean, with one small nick or surface inclusion at the table facet, not visible to the naked eye. The side diamonds total approx .16 carats additional. Stamped PLATINUM IRID for platinum, and tests as such. Circa 1930s. This ring is in good vintage condition.
