Vintage Art Deco diamond halo engagement ring. A diamond flower consisting of a bezel-set transitional cut diamond surrounded by six prong-set transitional cut diamonds, giving the appearance of six graceful flower petals. The shoulders, which rise up to meet the face of the ring, are decorated with three dainty old mine cut diamonds each, within an elegantly tapering frame. The profile is composed of simple scalloped prongs which flare out from a tapered base. A classic halo ring with a subtly romantic floral design. The center diamond is approx. .15 carats, I to J color, SI1 clarity, with approx. .66 carats of additional side diamonds. Circa 1930s. Stamped 10% IRID PLAT for platinum, and tests as such, with the exception of one repair or resizing done at the back of the shank in yellow or white gold which is visible in some lighting situations (see fourth and fifth photos). This ring is in good vintage condition.

This ring is currently a US size 8 1/4, but can be resized by your local jeweler.
